Cat Cafe Tycoon

How to Play Cat Cafe Tycoon

Cat Cafe Tycoon is a cozy idle game about running a cafe staffed entirely by cats. Start with one coffee machine and grow into a cafe empire with eight stations, a team of cat managers and a royal cake counter. This guide explains how your cafe earns, when to hire, and how to grow faster.

The basics

  1. Tap a station to brew. Each station makes one batch at a time. When its bar fills up, you earn coins.
  2. Level up. Every level adds another serving to each batch, so a station at level 10 earns ten times as much as at level 1. Each level costs a little more than the one before.
  3. Open new stations. Each new station costs more but earns far more per batch. Stations open in order, from Coffee to the Royal Cat Cake.
  4. Hire cat managers. A manager brews for you automatically, so you never have to tap that station again.

Use the x1, x10, x100 and MAX buttons above the station list to choose how many levels each tap buys. MAX buys as many levels as you can afford.

Big numbers are shortened: K is a thousand, M a million, B a billion and T a trillion. After that come aa, ab, ac and so on.

Cat managers

Every station has its own cat who can run it for you. Once hired, a manager keeps that station brewing nonstop, even while you are busy with other stations. Watch your cats at the counter: they make each order, carry it out to the customers waiting in the cafe, and the coins pop up as the customer is served. Only stations with a manager keep earning while you are away, and the coins-per-second number at the top of the screen counts only those stations.

Hire Mochi for Coffee as soon as you can. Coffee is quick and cheap to level, and freeing your fingers early speeds up everything else.

Milestones: twice as fast

When a station reaches level 25, 50, 100, 200, and then every 100 levels up to 1,000, it brews twice as fast. Each station card shows its next milestone, for example "Lv 50: 2× speed". Pushing a station over a milestone is often worth more than spreading the same coins across several stations.

Upgrades

Open the Shop tab to buy upgrades with coins:

Earning while you are away

Your managers keep brewing when you close the game. When you come back, a Welcome back message shows how long your cats worked and how much they earned. Tap Collect to add it to your coins.

At first your cats work for up to 2 hours while you are away. Each Night Shift from the gem shop adds an hour (up to 4 extra hours), and Lucky the black cat adds 2 more, for a maximum of 8 hours. Double-profit boosts do not count while you are away.

Gems, missions and daily gifts

Gems are the special currency. You earn them by:

Spend gems in the gem shop:

Time Warp: 25 gems
Get one hour of profits instantly.
Double Profits: 15 gems
All profits ×2 for 30 minutes.
Night Shift: 40 gems
Your cats work one more hour while you are away (up to +4 hours).

Special cats

Special cats are adopted with gems from the Cats tab. They boost your whole cafe and stay with you forever, even after you open a new cafe.

Opening a new cafe

Once your cafe has earned 100B coins, you can open a new cafe from the bottom of the Shop tab. You leave with stars , and each star adds +10% to all profits, forever.

The more you earn before moving on, the more stars you get: 100B gives 1 star, 400B gives 2, 900B gives 3, and 10T gives 10. Opening a new cafe resets your coins, station levels, managers and upgrades. You keep your stars, gems, special cats and Night Shift hours, so every new cafe grows much faster than the last.

Tips for a thriving cafe

  1. Keep tapping stations that have no manager yet. Early on, your fingers are your best employee.
  2. Save up for the next station. A new station usually earns more than many levels on an old one.
  3. Aim for milestones. Level 25 and level 50 on every station are big, cheap speed boosts.
  4. Hire a manager for every station you own before you take a break, so the whole cafe keeps earning.
  5. When you return with a pile of offline coins, switch to MAX and spend it in a few taps.
  6. Claim the daily gift and finish missions for free gems. Lucky and King Goldie are the best long-term gem buys.
  7. Do not open a new cafe too early. Wait until you can earn several stars at once: the extra profit makes the fresh start fly.
